I drawing by hand. Nothing beats a bottle of liquid ink and my old pen that I always draw with. It gets a little shaky and messy with lines that live. But then, of course, I scan in the pictures and process them into originals. My illustrations are often editorial assignments with the aim of commenting on something abstract. An image that gives new angles to the subject or reinforces and explains. It can be topics such as norms, context or identity. But I also work with portraits. It is special to be able to draw someone without all these requirements for depicting as the photo often has. When I draw someone, I am free to find the person inside the look. The insight that my daughter called it when she was little. It can be a temperament, recurring gestures or a basic attitude that becomes more visible than a beautiful face. I want to draw the way it feels. Convey without smoothing filters. I want something else. The illustrations have been published in member magazines, tenant magazines, customer magazines and international magazines. They have been used in manuals, exhibitions and information materials. But my pictures have also been printed on clothes, shown as large wall decorations in malls, store windows and on billboards. Among other things,
