Concept 1. I talk about how I do when I write and illustrate. I show sketches and original.
Students will have different writing exercises and then get to do illustrations/covers.
This can be adapted to different age of groups/grades.
Concept 2. Students will draw their self-portrait and try to do it differently by thinking of light, volume and shadow. Based on the self-portrait, they write a fictional story, because fictional stories can often say more about the person than the pure facts.

I do everything from children´s book, educational material, newspaper, book cover and Christmas cards. For the most part I paint in gouache, but I am well versed in most techniques and even make sculptures. I also work in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
