Linnea Holmström Ljung

I am a freelancing illustrator from Umeå, Sweden. I have a BA (Hons) degree in Illustration from the University of the West of England, Bristol, and have also studied foundation art for a year at Umeå Konstskola (ABF).

As an illustrator I am very diverse, and easily adapt to the client's wishes while maintaining my original style. What I am most passionate about is illustrations for children and young adults, fantasy, book illustration, comics, and games.

Most of the time I work in pencil that I colour digitally, or I will create my images completely digitally. Apart from that I also paint a lot with watercolours and gouache, and work in traditional print (linocuts and etchings). I also enjoy mixing different techniques and to work with handwritten typography. My strength as an illustrator lies in that I am a good listener, good at explaining, used to receiving constructive criticism, and stick to deadlines. I am used to working in Photoshop and InDesign, and know about how to prepare illustrations for print.

Some of my previous clients are the company NorrWed, and Umeå University/MIMS. Don't hesitate to contact me if you like the work in my portfolio!
