Mika Ohmori (Selin)

What is your name and how would you briefly describe what you do?

My name is Mika Ohmori and I have been working full time as a freelance illustrator in Japan since 1998. Now I have moved to Sweden. I work in various areas, for example schoolbooks, advertisement and websites. I really enjoy making illustrations for children.

Tell us a little about your background. Do you have an education, or are you self-taught?

I was employed 1993-1994 as a graphic designer and I started working as a freelance illustrator 1998. Education history: 2006-2008 TAFE Tasmania (Diploma of Graphic Design) – Tasmanien, Australien 1997-1998 Kyoto International Academy (Illustration) – Kyoto, Japan 1991-1993 Kagawa Junior College (Graphic Design) – Kagawa, Japan
