Linneo Yoga — Visual IdentityVille OkéLinneo Yoga — Visual IdentityLinneo is a yoga studio in Stockhom that invites everyone to stretch both body and mind. The Linneo symbol is inspired by the yoga position called Viparita Karani, where the feet are raised above the head and the hands are lying horisontally on the ground. This symbolizes seeing things from a different perspective. The symbol can also be stretched out to become a dynamic visual element that embodies the flexibility and smoothness of the body’s movements. Visit linneo.se for more info.

Cresnia — Visual IdentityVille OkéCresnia — Visual IdentityCresnia works in the tenant representation business. They approached me to redesign their identity, print material and office signage. The concept was inspired by a ribbon, representing exclusivity, forward movement and flexibility. The ribbon is recurring throughout the identity, from the logo to the numbers and the iconography. It can also be used on its' own as a graphic element.

Elise Einarsdotter — Album ArtworkVille OkéElise Einarsdotter — Album ArtworkElise Einarsdotter is a jazz pianist and composer. The release of "Suites for Solo Piano" marks a milestone in her 40 year musical career. I was asked to make the artwork for the suites. The artwork is inspired by the strings of a piano. They are always the same in number, but can evolve and change endlessly to form different musical landscapes.

Plantamed — Visual IdentityVille OkéPlantamed — Visual IdentityPlantamed combines herbal and modern medicine to create pharmaceutical products in harmony with nature. Project made together with BVD during my time working there. The identity was built around the shape of a leaf, which was integrated into the wordmark and became a simple and effective graphic element that can be used as a container for text and images as well as a pattern for print material and digital content. The result reflects the duality of Plantamed – it combines the sophistication of modern medicine with the organic quality of natural healthcare. Visit plantamed.se for more info

Mushi — Visual IdentityVille OkéMushi — Visual IdentityHow can we change the way people feel about eating insects? Mushi is my vision for the future of food, created as a final design project at Berghs School of Communication. The idea was to make something new but vaguely familiar. Kind of like sushi from the future. The word Insect litterally means "cut into sections", which is just what I did. I took the japanese sign for insect and cut it up into pieces that could be used to create a wide variety of patterns. Together with strong colors, bold typography and crisp imagery, the result was a sophisticated and vibrant identity that might make the idea of eating insects feel a little less distant. Photos by Matilda Lindeblad, styling by Caroline Dafgård.

Gröna Linjen — Visual IdentityVille OkéGröna Linjen — Visual IdentityGröna Linjen is a micro brewery in Stockholm located at the end station of the green line of the stockholm subway — hence the name. Gröna Linjen is all about the journey. They are always on the hunt for the perfect beer recipe. That's why the identity is built on the idea of travelling from point A to point B.

K25 — PostersVille OkéK25 — PostersUpdated identity and print material for K25, a foodcourt at Kungsgatan 25 in Stockholm. The most recognizable feature of the K25 identity is the square signage outside the food court, so I based the new design system on different patterns emanating from the square shape.
Geyser — Visual IdentityVille OkéGeyser — Visual IdentityGeyser is a prototype for a revolutionary new type of washing machine driven by steam. The company developing the prototype asked me to come up with a name and identity that would feel new and unexpected but also be self explanatory. I came up with the idea of a geyser and built the identity on the concept of upward movement. Geyser is still in development, but will hopefully be available to buy in the near future.

Ville Oké

I'm a Stockholm based graphic designer specialized in brand identity systems that work seamlessly across printed and digital media. Since 2009 he has worked for some of Swedens most renowned design agencies, with clients ranging from giants such as Coca-Cola, Volvo and IKEA to smaller, but equally important ones such as Valbo Shopping Mall and gambling helpline; Stödlinjen. In 2016, Ville founded Oké Design with the vision of using intelligent imagination, a method of combining rationality and creativity, as a tool to help clients create impact. By collaborating with developers, writers and photographers, Oké Design has all the capabilites of a large design agency, but with the efficiency and flexibility of a one-man-studio.
